Articulation Placemats - Paper Airplane

We love to use the placemats with all of our clients working on /l/ at the syllable level. Add a consonant to the end and you have made it to the word level! Your purchase includes a black and white and color placemat. We like to print and laminate the color placemat. The black and white one is great to have the student color and take home.

L- The /L/ Syllable Paper Airplane Placemats are not only beautiful, but fun as well. Help your child easily slide from the /L/ to a vowel. These placemats were designed with a child who substituted a /w/ for /l/ (gliding). Even after being able to produce /l/ correctly, that /w/ still crept in before the vowel. Pausing and sliding from the /l/ to the vowel did the trick.

S-The /S/ Paper Airplane Placemats not only beautiful, but fun as well. Help your child easily slide from the /s/ to a vowel. These placemats were designed with a child who stopping (i.e. substituting a stop sound such as /t/ for /s/). Pausing and sliding from the /s/ to the vowel is so helpful when working on the /s/.

These placemats were designed with a child who substituted a /w/ for /r/ (gliding). Even after being able to produce /r/ correctly, that /w/ still crept in before the vowel.
